Wireless printer compatibility
Will wireless printers function with the T43? I haven't explored my T43 capabilities but judging from the year of production, wireless printing wasn't ubiquitous at the time, so I assume it won't work but would happily be informed otherwise. Thank you.
Re: Wireless printer compatibility
Wireless printers work on an 802.11 wireless network, so if your T43 is capable of connecting to the wireless network the printer is on, there is no reason it won't work. You will, of course, still need to install drivers.
Collection = T500 - R400 - X300 - X200 - T61 (14" WXGA+) - T61 (14.1" SXGA+) - T60 (15" SXGA+) - X40 - T43p - T43 - T42p - A30P - 600E
Re: Wireless printer compatibility
... agree with Neil; I can't see why it shouldn't work. Actually, a friend of mine has been using a Brother HL 5370DW Laser Printer with Wireless Networking and Duplex (specific model = HL5370DWZW1) for a couple of years with a T42 (under Windows XP), it has always worked without any problems. If you wish, you may read the user feedback at Amazon.com for this printer.
Cheaper alternatives also exist; such as the Brother HL-2270DW Compact Laser Printer with Wireless Networking and Duplex etc.

Re: Wireless printer compatibility
Thanks as always - it seemed a question with such obvious answers. I've moved from the UK to Taiwan and need to invest in an all-in-1 printer/scanner/copier/fax inkjet with wireless functionality. May have a look at Brother, though keen on the newer Epsons, but the model numbers here are - for whatever reason - different, so it's a challenge to find the corresponding models.
