T42 - login problem

Hello,

When I log off from my Windows account and log in after some time, the computer freezes and I can't do anything but to unplug my battery. The screen does not change, just showing the log-in progress.

I called IBM, but no answer how to resolve this issue other than avoiding logging off and using hibernation functions instead.

Please, let me know if anyone knows how to fix this.

If you wait does it ever login - after 3 minutes, after 5 minutes, after 10 minutes? Try it and see if it's really frozen or just taking a very long time.
