S3GSAVMX

#1 Post by ub-re » Thu Apr 14, 2005 2:55 pm

I have a T20 running Windows XP. My graphics chip is S3Graphics/1X1014. Recently,
I think since starting run XP my system locks up and eventually the screen "bLues" with an error said to be caused byS3GSAVMX driver. If I reboot it goes away - for a while
Does anyone else have the same problem or perhaps a solution?

Thanks

Hi ub-re,

Have you updated your graphics driver since switching to Windows XP? If not, check out the driver matrix: http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site. ... ATRIX.html. You should be able to find all the updates you need there.
Homebuilt PC: AMD Athlon XP (Barton) @ 1.47 GHz; nForce2 Ultra; 1GB RAM; 80GB HDD @ 7200RPM; ATI Radeon 9600; Integrated everything else!
