Quick question on ATI Catalyst Driver Installation

#1 Post by kc » Thu Apr 14, 2005 5:42 pm

Per prior posts, I'm about to install Catalyst drivers and then mod them to work with DVI 1600x1200.

Do I need to uninstall my existing IBM/ATI drivers first?

If so, do i uninstall through the Progam Uninstall (which uninstalls everything related to ATI) or through the Radeon driver uninstall in the Properties window?

Once again, thanks in advance.

Thanks. It installed.

My LCD stil displays very differently (smaller) with the new driver. (see post below). Settings are identical to before. Any thoughts?

Also, no Thinkpad LCD specific driver in the Catalyst package. Does this matter>|?

Thanks.
