access IBM key does not work on boot up

hi,

i did a fresh install of winxp on my T41. now that it has been installed, i can't access the predesktop area using the access ibm key anymore. i have run the predesktop administrator utility from ibm and it is still intact.

is there anything i can do to regain access to the predesktop area?

i've installed R&R. i still cannot access the predesktop area menu using the access IBM key. i am, however, able to access the R&R WinPE environment and access utilities in the predesktop area menu, for example, the pc-doctor diagnostics program.

any ideas how to get the predesktop area menu back?
