IP-Address is lost after standby with Intel 2200BG

Hi,

I use XP Wireless Connection programm instead of IBM Access Connection.
I have a stable wireless connection with static IP-Adress...
If the thinkpad is placed into standby the IP-Adress of the default gateway ist lost, when the machine is turned back on.
Intel PRO/Wireless 2200BG Driver-Version 9.0.1.9.

Is there anything I can do ?
