T43 Heat

I've read in multiple forums about the T43's heat problem. I can't imagine the Sonoma chipset is entirely responsible for this. Can the owners of the T43s give us some input on this? Preferably comparing it with previous T4-s.

mine on browsing and such not even warm. but yesterday i played a game and it was too hot to touch (the bottom left side)

what i don't understadn is why the fan didn't kick in at full RPM ...
