Display/LCD brightness at startup

#1 Post by burns334 » Tue May 01, 2012 6:02 am

Morning folks, I know this has to be easy but I can't figure it out. When I start my T43 on battery it has a bright screen until it's almost completely up and running and then it goes to the dimmest setting for the display and I have to brighten it up manually. Is there some way to control the startup brightness setting?

Since it happens after the system is almost done loading, I think it's more of a Power Manager setting. Configure it to maximum on battery life, and you should be fine.

What I could not yet ever achieve is to get Power Manager to leave the brightness alone when starting.

Thanks guys, bios was set to normal so I left that alone, in power options it was set to 1 of 7 so I just made a custom one that started at level 6 of 7 under power and battery. I've been in there before just forgot about it, anyway, thanks as always
