SXGA+ to T43

This screen to T43 2668-F5G.

Is this gonna work straight ahead or I need some other modifications? Is it worth it?

You'll need a different LCD cable and inverter, check the HMM for FRU numbers.

Only you can decide whether it's worth it. The seller has a good reputation, but the total price might come close to $200 by the time everything adds up...a lot of money to spend on a T43 upgrade nowadays.

That being said, if you really want it...go for it.

Where can I find this numbers? Silly question, I know, but it will save me time if someone answers here. FRU numbers need to mach?

If I were not posting from my blackberry I'd hook you up with the link...

Check the LCD parts numbers for a 15" SXGA+ LCD in "product and parts detail" (I think) on Lenovo's site. You'll get there by choosing support/thinkpad and then putting your model number in the "quick path"...

This panel is attractive, but I'll reconsider doing the mod because of the price.
