R52 and more than 2 GB memory

So far as I can see it's not possible to install more than 2 GB.

Or is there a way to put more memory in?

At the moment i have 1 x 2GB block in.

Your R52 would be better served with 2 1GB DIMMs enabling it to run in dual-channel mode.

You might get the machine to "see" more than 2GB, but the chipset limitation to 2GB of usable RAM remains.

thanks.. okay 2x1gb is better than 1x2gb

but how do I enable dual channel?

It will enable itself once installed.
