Upgrade From 600X to T42

I'm upgrading from my beloved 4 1/2 year old 600X to a T42 14" (23739ZU). I have read several posts on this board extolling the virtues of the 600X keyboard, screen, overall build, etc. My question is as follows: will I be dissapointed? How WILL the keboard, screen, and general build quality compare?. Input from anyone with both is greatly appreciated.

You won't be dissapointed at all. I switched from 600E to a T40. The T4x is much lighter, the screen (14") is great, and thanks to the ATI video card DVDs look much better. Well, the keyboard. The 600 series keyboard is unbeatable, we know that, but the T4x's feels great too. Maybe a bit noisier, but it's still the usual IBM quality. I think the build quality is excellent. So go for it! Don't worry, you'll love it.
