T43 shows horizontal black and white lines after waking up.

This only happens sometimes. The black and white lines look like an old TV set broadcasting a test pattern at 3AM, without the circle in the middle. If I reboot, everything goes back to normal. No big deal, I'm just curious as to what might cause this.
