Hi!

1:
I bought a T41 with German OS. This is a 2373-3JG

I dont want to use it with german, I prefer english.
Unfortunately the Access IBM software is german too.

I looked the Ibm support site for downloads, but I cannot find the Access Ibm software.
How/where can I download the software needed to work th Access IBM button?

2:
I want to replace the wlan card to an atheros/prism chipset one.
Where can I order a card which will be working in T41?
What is the IBM FRU number of the card?

Managed to reinstall the Access IBM.
Now I want to find an Atheros/prism chipset based wlan card. Unfortunately the HMM does not contain the chipset of the cards in it.

Phone: (36) 1 216 5300, (36) 1 215 7072 They can get you the card. I have IBM a/b/g Wireless LAN Mini PCI Adapter in my T40, and works perfectly.

I bougth an X40 8 cell battery at 166USD price (versus 238USD in your link).

I can buy it, but I dont know which is atheros/prism based.

Good to know they have better prices.

The two Mini PCI card I mentioned (IBM a/b/g Wireless LAN Mini PCI Adapter, IBM a/b/g Wireless LAN Mini PCI Adapter II.) have Atheros chipset for sure.
