T42 Access issues

#1 Post by Blammes75 » Fri Oct 05, 2012 10:52 am

I had to reformat my PC and now I cannot access the internet either with wireless or cable. I have tried to download drivers to a CD from a newer machine to load into the T42 without success. Can someone direct me to a software I can download onto a disc on a Windows 7 machine to load onto a Windows XP Pro macine? I love my T42 but right now it is next to useless.

Get all your drivers here: http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/researc ... D=HT035441
When you double-click an an .exe file, it only unpacks into c:\drivers\xxx\yyy
Then you need to go into the 'unpacked' location and execute the SETUP.EXE you find there.

For clarity and just in case: download the .exe file and move it as is to the T42, then unpack it and run the setup.
