Fn Combination list?

I have a new T42 and I was wondering if anyone knows of a comprehensive list of Fn key combinations? I searched the IBM list and I couldn't seem to find it.

Fn +
F3 = Turn LCD on/off
F4 = Standby
F5 = Wireless/Bluetooth/Access Connections
F7 = Presentation Director
F9 = EasyEject
F12 = Hibernate
Home = Screen Brightness Up
End = Screen Brightness Down
PgUp = ThinkLight
Spacebar = Zoom

Bringing this back from the dead.....

Does the Fn key serve any other purpose than those combinations? Can it be used in combination with an unmapped key to perform some other shortcut? For example, Fn+Z to launch IE, etc....

I have tried this in MS Word, when I go to create a new macro and bind it to the keyboard, but if will not recognize an Fn-key combo. Is there a small utility out there to do this?

PS - I am looking for the Fn-key equivalent of WinKey, if you are familiar to that.

benz, my old toshiba satelite used to have a utility that would map the function key with anything to be a shortcut, was nice and I don't think it was exclusive to the toshiba, I'll see if I can find it...it would be practical.

well you could create a shortcut on your desktop to program X and then right click the shortcut and over where it says "Shortcut Key" you could program a key combo. Of course it'll be Ctrl + Alt + __ (__ is the key of your choice.)

the reason for the "..." was that I posted something that was incorrect, so I got rid of it. I found a program that recognized the fn key but you could not add something to it, so just one shortcut for fn. If you want to find some nice programs where you can make other keys such as ctrl + d for my documents, there are some nice free ones on download.com. I am using one now called keyboard pro. These are better than the built-in xp shortcut manager where everything is ctrl + alt + something.

^ exactly, all native XP can do is make "CTRL+ALT+..." combo shortcuts, can't even use the Windows key

But Tkisason, you might be on to something very popular if you can get it to work. Keep us posted, and start a new thread for this if you figure it out!!
