T40 wireless 2200BG upgrade ??

I upgraded to the 2200BG card a few days ago.

Before I did... I deleted/uninstalled my old driver and network connection.

After installing the 2200BG I downloaded/installed driver from Lenovo-Support area.

I continue to check download speeds of 5-7 Mbps.
Everyother machine/computer in my house is measuring 19-23 Mbps.

Other than that .... everything with the 2200BG and wifi is flawless.

What gives??
Is there some setting that I haven't found that's limiting my download speed??

I can't figure this one out after searching here and elsewhere have found nothing.

Any assistance is appreciated!!

(BTW ----- My upload speeds are consistantly in the 16-20 Mbps range .... go figure)

T40 have been known to be a little picky on the wifi card you install, sometimes the brand matters even if the wifi card you have has a FRU number in it, i would try to get another one of the same just to try and see if it is not defective but most likely it is not, but the solution may be to get a non intel one.

Are you using Access Connections, Windows, or Intel's own utility to control the wireless?

What are your "wired" speeds with the same machine?
