Upgrding to new hard drive & moving hidden preload OS

Does anyone out there know how to move the hidden preloaded WinXP and software that came with my T30 to a new clean hard drive and use it to do a clean factory install on the new drive? and What would be the steps in doing that.

When using the created CDs/DVDs make sure that the new hdd does not contain a partition and is not formatted and change the boot order (cd first) permanently.
