T43 Prices vs T42

#1 Post by Nomad-Man » Thu Apr 28, 2005 6:31 pm

Im on a budget... Was going to go with the R series but this forum has pretty much talked me into finding a T series... trying to decide between a T42 which has a aging video card or going with a T43. The problem....no prices to be found for T43's theres a crap load of them in the tabook, but no prices.

So does anybody here know what the lowest end t43 with dedicated graphics is selling for with the visa discount..?

Thanks for the help

You can call Bill Morrow to see what he can do for you or
you can go to the IBM Edu site and get MSRP prices for all the models.

Select your state and go to the Students and Alumni page.
Select show all products, not just in stock.

The credit card sites seem to have 15-20% off non-express models and 10% off express models. There are some T43 models listed at those sites as well.

You didn't specify 14" or 15", XGA or SXGA+, etc. There are alot of options.

By the way, there really isn't that much difference between the Radeon 9600 and the X300. Do a search on the many posts about it.
