Hmm and for a message I will repeat the subject in more of a question form. Do Thinkpad T43's use DD2 Ram?

If you have a look in the Personal Systems Reference, ThinkPad Notebooks, 2005 to present - withdrawn, September 2012 - Version 424 you will read about T43's that the RAM used therein is:
256MB std / 2GB max / PC2-4200 533MHz DDR2 / non-parity / CL4 / dual channel capable / two 200-pin SO-DIMM sockets / std mem in one socket / one socket available
More detailled info in many (many!) threads (Google?!); e.g. What are the different memory types? or Memory Spec Range for T43? etc etc.
