Memory for T41 (2373) and T42 (2379)

I was looking a memory upgrade for a T41 (2373) and T42 (2379) and on crucial.com they seems to have different part number with different price (cheaper for the T42).

Is it really 2 different type memory stick ? I thought they were the same format.

The (cheaper) one listed for the T42 will work fine on both.

actually IBM is also listing the same part number for both models. So crucial must be keeping different part numbers to keep track of who get what for which machine.
