refurbished T42 from ebay

I am a new T42 user.. Mine is 2379R9U and it is supposed to have a 60gb hard drive with 7200rpm but instead mine has a 80gb with 4200rpm. I found that the price difference is about 75 dolloars and I really would like to get the hard drive replaced. Before I bought this laptop I bought and returned a new dell ins 9300 and paid the shipping fee and now don't want to pay the shipping fee again. Do you guys think if I can just send the hard drive only get it replaced? I bought my T42 from a reputable ebay seller who has 100%positive feedback and the laptop is refurbished. Any good recommendations?

Contact him. If he sent you the wrong drive, it should be easy for him to exchange only the drive.
