I sent in my T30 last week and it took them a week and a half to send it back with a replaced fan assembly and system board (fan was making noise and the battery was draining under hibernation). Sufficed to say, both issues were fixed and didn't happen anymore. Now, I have a whole new issue, the system just turns off randomly and won't turn on for at least a minute. It hasn't even been a week!!!! Seriously, what the hell, now I can't even use the computer because it won't let me it powers off after being on for like 2 minutes. I'm soooooo [censored] right now becuase now I have to wait for them to send me another box to send it in and god knows how long it'll take to get it back and if it'll work right.

you can reuse the same box it was returned in..
you should have called and gotten it picked up the same day it was returned not working..

there is no excuse for shipping it back to you without sufficient testing to be sure it was working but then random power off's is a new problem..

if you have not called yet, do so at the first possible moment..

Well I can't reuse that box because it doesn't have a valid label. I already called IBM and as of today it's being repaired in their depot. My main gripe is I already had to deal with no thinkpad for a week and a half. They SHOULD send someone to me this time.
