Price and Inventory Changes?? /me = frustrated

Ok, so when i was in the market for a Dell, prices changed almost every half day. But now, with IBM and EDU discount, price are remaining constant for weeks at a time. I know there is a current shortage of donathan CPU's globally.

But when should i expect to see inventory issues resolved. And when can i begin to see fluxutations in prices to where i can judge my purchase further?? [in the market for a t42 2378fvu]. More importantly, when can i expect to actually SEE my bloody thinkpad after i've ordered it

Finally, id really like to see the Thinkpad faq that dfnumento posted a while back. Even if its been mildly censored, or whatever. I never had the chance to read over it fully, and i just want to take a gander at it

well, they are getting more inventory in on the 25th of this month...depending on how the did the order there should either be more than enough or just enough for those people that have been waiting...
