I LLLLOVE MY T43!

#1 Post by vovus » Fri May 06, 2005 2:35 am

Got my T43 (2668 92g) 2 days ago, cant see enough!!! Do not understand any topics about loudness, hit and some, - nothing can confirm - perfect machine!!! beautiful wide angle screen, cool-slim design, seems there are some differences in bottom construction compared with my previous T41, - its like aerodinamic-style line around fun holes when to see along border line. T41 has straight bottom border lines...
I am very very happy with my note :D

according to my supplier I am getting mine on the 10th May (UC371UK). Can't wait!

The other IT guy sitting next to me has his and he said the only time he hears the fan in on boot.

yeah you need to be super picky to complain about the fan.

i mention that on a different post , but now when i'm not using the wireless , the fan is virtually off :) means it's on but to make sure it is , i have to put my ear on the laptop. or put my finger near the fan exit and even then its very weak. feels only when my finger is closer then 5mm !

Glad you love your T43. Am interested in one myself....

Can you find out of it makes use of the extra IRQ's available on the Sonoma platform?

IRQ's show up if you look at system recources (Win 2000 it is in Configuration panel/system/hardware profile/) then select View from the menu and select View recources by connection. Whole list should show up.

Thanks al lot and enjoy!

I sent you a private message. Need the info for a fast decision. Appreciate your help. For a quick answer; can you see IRQ's from 11 to 18 or just 11 to 13? Would like the screenshot.

Thanks a lot.

Whereas with my T42 I ALWAYS have to put my ear right at the fan exit, even when the laptop is chugging away compiling for hours or when playing a graphically intensive video game.
