I've just replaced my T42's motherboard with one from a T43. I went ahead and installed Windows 7 when I'd got it all back together and all went well, well until the keyboard and mouse stopped responding. A USB mouse works fine and never freezes.
I've tried reinstalling windows and it all seems fine for the first few hours, but then it keeps happening around 20 mins after first boot up.
It seems to me that it must be some windows update as it never occurs when using Linux.
Before I have to install every update one by one, does anyone have any ideas which one it might be?

Re: T43 keyboard and mouse freezing
I had the same issue with a T43P and Windows 7 plus video would quit after a while sometimes. Works 100% in XP so I just switched the HD back.

Re: T43 keyboard and mouse freezing
It's turned out to be the battery.
With it out there are no problems under windows 7.
Does anyone know if this sounds like the charging circuit or the battery, so I know if I should buy a new battery or not?

Re: T43 keyboard and mouse freezing
Most likely - as in 9:1 - the battery.
