Has anyone try to buy T42P from Lenovo?

Hi,

Has anyone bought T42P from Lenovo website?

Do they replace the IBM label on the top of the case to Lenovo or it is still IBM?

I am just afraid they change it to Lenovo logo (that would be aweful).

Do they still offer 3 years warranty?

I heard that they will sell computers under IBM logo for 5 years.

That's good to know.

I'm sure after 5yrs, someone will be selling the IBM logo's, a razor blade & some GooGone as a nice little kit on FleaBay...

lenovo has a 5 year contract with ibm..
part of that is the right to use the ibm logo for up to 5 years..
the key is that they have the "right" for "up to" five years..
