LCD screen on T42 14.1 XGA LG or Samsung

Which LCD screen is better, the LG or Samsung screen for the XGA 14.1 screens on the T42s.

I'll be getting my T42 today 2378-R4U - Cheapest and the only T42 IBM laptop I can afford (student)...but I did buy 1 gb Kingmax sodimm ram for $125 (newegg) to upgrade my very low amount of 256 mb. The T42 cost me $980 on ebay with shipping (was this a good deal?), I hope it doesn't have dead pixel/pixels....
