BIOS Updates for the T43s...

What DO they do?

(In regards to the bios updates that have been on the IBM website for some time now...)
T43p (2668G2U)- 14.1' SXGA+ Pentium M 770 2.13 ghz, 1 gb ddr2 ram, 60 gb harddrive @ 7200 rpm, 128 mb Mobility FireGL V3200, DVDR, Fingerprint Reader, Bluetooth.

Version 1YET38WW (1.01)
Note: This BIOS version will only work with Embedded Controller Program Version 1.00a.
(Fix) System hangs at first power on, after power source (AC adapter and battery) removal during standby state.
Version 1YET39WW (1.02)
Note: This BIOS version will only work with Embedded Controller Program Version 1.00a (or higher).

(Fix) Improvement of Integrated Fingerprint Reader.

(Fix) Some BIOS setup menu items are not copied, using a Remote CMOS Update Utility.
(Fix) System does not boot from USB FDD, when Bluetooth power is turned on

Note: This BIOS version will only work with Embedded Controller Program Version 1.03 (or higher).

(Fix) System resume time from Windows standby state became longer by one second with BIOS 1YET42WW (1.04

What do u mean? Do you mean what these bios updates do? Read the readme.txt that is accompanied with each update :o
