Wishing for English recovery CD's

Looking forward to working with the T43p I ordered a few days ago. Only downside, it's a German model. Will be changing the keyboard into US version but.......

Would love to have the US Recovery CD's for this baby. In the UK and Germany IBM absolutely refuses to send me those. They can only supply the German version (because my T43 is German). They say it is Bill Gates fault and has to do with licenses.

I can live with it as my German is fine, but would be more happy with US version. Any ideas?

Beg someone who has ordered the US version to send you a copy. But it is illegal to do so...according to licensing agreements...

I would pay for an XP OEM license, but IBM sais that doesn't work.....
