i set power scheme to standby after 2 hours, but it doesn't. i am using MicroXP. have drivers installed. by the way i am not using that special power manager. windows settings should be enough.

many buggy software can block automatic standby

use msconfig and turn off all software in automatic startup and check it. If it work turn one software one by one and find software who block this feature

well Thinkvantage Powermanager seems to be buggy. uninstalled it and all works.
