I just got a 2687D4U the other day, and I wanted to know if anyone could kindly help me with the following issues:
1. Screen brightness seems to go to maximum brightness by default when Windows starts up. Can this behaviour be changed?
2. IBM Client Security Software won't install properly (in order to use the security chip). Midway through installation, it says installation was interrupted, and quits on me. At first, it displayed error code 998 when this happened, now the installer just quits. Anyone else have this problem?
Thanks a lot for the help!

You can change the brightness in the Battery MaxiMiser schemes
I read this in the page of the Client Security Software:
I read this in the page of the Client Security Software:
Also that you need a Securty chip compatible with TCG or the 5.4 version will not work only v5.3CSS v5.41 is intended for PCs that are equipped with a TCPA security chip. If installation of v5.41 is attempted on any other computer, an error message will be generated and the installation process will terminate without changing the target system.
