Weak range of Bluetooth on my T43

When I put my phone or any other Bluetooth device on my keyboard or under my IBM, Bluetooth sees it it in range. But few cm off my IBM none of my Bluetooth devices is seen within Bluetooth range. It happened just after I replaced the LCD screen. Don't know to to start up with? Any ideas?

Did you replace just the LCD or the whole lid?
If it was a whole lid, it might not have a bluetooth antenna.
Check if the BT-antenna wire is still connected properly to the bottom of that modem/BT-card, top-left under the keyboard.
It may have fallen off.
