LP141X12 > T42?

I have a dead LCD on a T42 and a live LCD on a T30 (LP141X12).
Are they interchangeable? Can I install the LP141X12 on the T42?

T30 used different screens than any other ThinkPad so I'd say "no".

I think the T43 screens are compatible with the T42 screen.

They are, as are any others seen in T4x/T6x series (presuming 4:3 format for the latter) but T30 is a whole different animal...
