T43 WLAN Hot-key not working

Hi Guys,

I bought an IBM T43 and freshly installed Windows XP.

I installed the following: Driver for Intel Pro Wireless 2200BG 3B Network, Presentation Director, Hot-key Utility and then Access Connections.
When I turn on the router, Windows XP connects to the network - but when I open a browser there is no internet.
I also press the keys Fn and F5 together and it turns on bluetooth - the wifi symbol at the bottom of the laptop screen is already on - but the hot-key does not seem to operate it ( every time I press it, windows xp says 'hardware found' but then not installed ).
I would be grateful if you guys could point me in the right direction.
