Alternative or not to UC2M1GE?

Hallo,

I'm going to buy the Thinkpad UC2M1GE. Now I ask myself, whether there's another Thinkpad, especially from the T-43 series, is suitable for my needs (working):

I've heard (also from people in a Thinkpad Center), that the T-43 series has some 'teething problems', therefore the T42-series should be prefered at the time.

One requirement is absolutly important, the loudness of the notebook. In a Thinkpad Center I've heard some notebooks, and what shell I say: Also the T42-p-series is basically louder as the UC2M1GE. I can't hear a T-43 notebook, but they should be as loud as T-42p. According to this the only notebook that remains is the UC2M1GE.

Or what is your opinion to the loudness of T-42 and T-43 series?
