where to buy 6 cell batteries?

hello all. besides direct from ibm/lenovo, where can i buy the 6 cell battery for a t42p ? i found that newegg.com stocks only the 9 cell.

This question feels so stupid, so maybe here is a better place to ask rather than making a new thread to ask, and looking stupid...

For the batteries that are refered to as for the "T40" series, it is compatible with all T4x's right? I'm confused because I wanted to buy a FRU #08k8193 ("T40 series battery") from someone, which I found on the Lenovo website that its compatible with two models of T40's but no mention of anything else. I called Lenovo to ask, and for my general question, "My friend has a battery for T40, will it work with a T43?" and the answer was no (???)....

I'm browsing around the EPP website to find battery options for the T43 I want to get (2687-DSU), though, and all batteries are referred to in the format [Letter][integer][zero], such as A30 series, T40 series, R50 series, etc...

The battery will work, except it will have less battery life since the batteries designed specifically for the T43 have a longer runtime.

Physically - fits
Capacity - lower

T43 specific battery (any examples?)

I believe so. The T4x one is like 6.6amp hour, whereas the T43 6-cell (the new one) is 7.2amp hour.

BTW, if your not too familiar with batteries, both operate at 10.6v, so electrically, they're compatable. The amp hour (capacity) is like the size of the fuel tank on your car, you can drive your car regardless if it has a 6.6 gallon fuel capacity or a 7.2 gallon fuel capacity...you just won't make it as far with the lower capacity.
