Seek anyone still doing T43 SATA mod - BoardRoom no longer does them

Anyone know where to still get T43 SATA mods done?? Prefer to have SATA mod done in the Indiana state area so I can just drop it off, pay and then just happily pickup my T43. I checked out the Boardroom website that people spoke about but they no longer do any more.

Thanks for the tip. My T43 already does 1400 x 1050. I would be taking a step backwards in terms of video display.

There's absolutely nothing stopping you from swapping in your LCD assembly - presuming it's a 15" system - or just the planar if your machine is 14".

I know of only TWO other persons on the forum who have ever done a SATA-mod!
One was in the UK, stopped doing them several years ago. And the other one did a SATA-mod on an X41.

FYI: before I stopped doing SATA-mods, these were the prices that people happily paid:
$100 - send in your bare motherboard for a SATA-mod, incl. return-shipping
$150 - send in your laptop, but without HD/CD/Battery/charger for a SATA-mod, incl. dis-/re-assembly and return-shipping.
And that was also before USPS jacked up their prices!

Now, today, for only $140 you can get a complete 15" T43 laptop WITH SATA-mod, incl. shipping.
That's a steal!

I doubt you'll find anybody in Indiana or even elsewhere in the USA.
