T42p; problem with hard disk: PC freeze on particular positions/movements

#1 Post by boodi » Wed May 18, 2016 4:47 am

good day . i have a problem with - i think - the hard disk and the hard disk space on my t43p
it seems that in particular positions it freezes ( pointer freezed and all ) ; maybe is due to the anti-shock technology?
when i move it in other positions then it instantly resumes..

That indicates a loose Southbridge problem (big Intel chip under the wifi-card).
To get that fixed, your motherboard (GPU and Southbridge) needs to be reballed, but it will be extremely difficult to find someone who can do it.
Only other solution: replace the motherboard.
