Thinkpad T42 2374 - Continuously turns Wifi on and off. period is about 10-15 seconds.

Can anyone suggest any version of what is going on.

The problem appeared recently. I made a full recovery of factory contents from original CDs. 7 pcs
But connection still behaves the same way.

Intel PRO/Wireless 2200BG Network Connection icon in the task bar turns green and then turns grey every 10 seconds.

I put power mode and wifi for maximum performance, thinking its smth about power saving - but no changes in behavior.

Problem appeared at the office, but still remains at home. So, its not Access point side.

You may want to reseat the wireless card and its antennas.

You could also try updating the driver.
