Wireless starts WAY faster on T43p than my T42p

Anyone notice how much faster the wireless is up and going on the T43p? It is up and running in just seconds where my T42p would take sometimes a minute to be ready to go.

Had my T43p for just a day and love it! The firget print security works way better than I expected.

The difference is probably in the drivers. What wireless cards does each machien have?

It takes approx. 5-10 seconds for me to switch to a different wireless network with the original IBM a/b/g card.
Homebuilt PC: AMD Athlon XP (Barton) @ 1.47 GHz; nForce2 Ultra; 1GB RAM; 80GB HDD @ 7200RPM; ATI Radeon 9600; Integrated everything else!

My T42p wireless is on in seconds, probably the card and/or driver.
