VERY short Bluetooth range T42?

Hi,

I have Bluetooth factory installed on my T42, and bluetooth mice (I've tried two different ones) only work when one inch or less from the computer. I have to basically place them on top of the computer for them to be picked up.

Anybody have a similar problem? Possibly could be hardware, like the antenna not being attached?

FWIW, after the last update, the "My Bluetooth Places" has stopped functioning...

Check the antenne; sounds like it's not hooked up.

Thanks - do you have a pointer for how I'd check the antenna?

Take out the keyboard, it's a white wire under ESC key.
