T42 mic

hi there...im having problem with my T42 mic. i can use it to do voice recording but when i try to use it during an audio conference in for example
msn messenger the other party cant hear me. can someone kindly help me out?thanx

In MSN Messenger, there should be an audio/sound wizard/setup option in one of the menus. Try messing around with that.

All T42's have a mic??? I never even knew that. Where/how can I use mine?

I believe the mic is under the 2 little holes above the esc key. Open SoundMAX in Control Panel to set it up.

Click Control panel>sound & audio device>advanced (device volume)>advanced(microphone).....untick the 1.alternate microphone......and Tick 2. microphone boost
