new memory for a t42

has anyone tried upgrading the ram of their t4x?

my friend told me that i had to get a low heat version because many ppl got errors when they dind't use low heat.
i bought a corsair 512mb pc2700 200pin 2.5cas, but my friend said there was a low heat version where the chips are 16x32.

anyone done the same thing buying ram taht isn't a low heat version from another company? and did u have any type or memory errors?

i'm planning on getting regular old ram from crucial using their ram checker thing.. i could go to newegg.com or whatever and buy my own there, but i think crucial will promise the ram they sell will work in your notebook..
