Hi,
I'm quite stunned. Just couple of minutes ago, the WinXP halted with the following error:
Memory parity check fault.
The system is halted
WTF? What can be the reason - faulty memory? machine itself? Windows? I would appreciate your advice, thnx.
PS: I have 2G Ram installed (T43p) - the additional module is - KTM-TP3840/1G (Kingston).
Memory parity error...
Remove and reseat the Kingston memory. If you get the same error again, remove the Kingston and leave it out. If the errors stop, return or exchange the Kingtson module. If not, follow the same process with the original system module. (You'll have to remove the keyboard to do that.)
It's a process of elimination.
It's a process of elimination.
