Is there a huge difference between the 14.1 and 15 in screen

So far, I am going with a fully loaded T43P with a 14.1 inch screen. I got it for 2,250 which is a great price. After reading some posts, it seems to me that there is a significant difference between the quality of the two screens. I am not a huge stickler for screen quality, but I want it to be able to produce some nice dark and vivid colors. I just thought the only difference was the .9 inches.

Also, is the ATI MOBILITY FIRE GL V3200 good with playing games? Or is it just for 3d rendering?

Colour reporduction on any notebook screen isn't going to be great - i still use an external CRT when colour is very important. Other than that if your not a stickler for screen quality you probably wouldn't notice much difference although the IPS screens are brighter, a bit clearer and have better viewing angles.

On t-series though i think 14.1" is the best choice - the 15" models are larger (kinda halfway in size between other T4* and R5*)

I would think the graphics chip would play most games but in comparision to desktops I don't think it could be described as good .

I also agree... I think the point of a T43p is that you can get it in the 1 inch thick 14.1 inch screen size.

I saw the second one, but not the first... thanks again. I wish that there were some IBM kiosks where you can compare the two screens... but I guess I will just have to make do. Hopefully the 14 incher will have a similar quality to the 15.
