How do you clean your Screen??

I have some fingerprints on my T42 screen... what is the best way to clean it? And the outside of the laptop as well? Thanks

I've used windex and paper towels for 18 months now without a problem, and I know that's "not recommended" but you know what *has* caused actual damage to my screen--scratches in a little circle in the middle? The %$# trackpoint cap!

Outside - Try CD cleaner... Or whatever you used to clean your screen, works great.
Windex is going to kill your LCD you know, makes it brittle and weak.
Inside I use "Klear Screen", apparently doesn't contain amonia or achohol to kill your LCD, but I usually wipe it with the same microcloth I use my glasses

I don't have a Thinkpad (yet!) but I have been using "Klear screen" for my Sony Vaio for several years and it's great. You get a small bottle (spray) that is sufficient for 300 applications and 2 cleaning cloths for the screen. Works perfectly! I bought mine a bit more than 1 year ago and it was around $15.

Avoid using steel wool to get those tough spots out. I tried that and now my screen is not as clear as it used to be. I think it must be my backlight going bad.
