T43 -- Advice

I'm ordering a new notebook to take to college, and hope to order a nice T-series. I'm currently looking at the 2687DTU, which i can EPP for 1446.

I've looked around this forum some, and seen that model mentioned twice along with complaints of a 5400rpm HD, but the IBM website says its a 60gb 7200rpm. These posts i read were pretty recent, but i can trust the website right?

Also, Any other reccomendations for a T-series? I'm pretty much looking for the specs of this model, but I can budge some either way if there is a better deal to be had. (except the screen, I need a 15").

It's a 60GB 5400rpm drive. Tabook is far more accurate than other sources. See forum faq.
