t43p wireless connection
I just received my t43p several days ago. Everything is running fine except that I cannot connect to my wireless network. I can access the internet if I plug the computer in. If I let windows configure everything for me it says i have "limited or no connectivity". If i enter the IP address and set up everything, it says i have full connectivity but nothing works. I tried using only Access Connections, but that says that it cannot turn on the radio and I need to have the driver version 0.0.0.0. I am using the Intel 2915 abg wireless card with a Linksys router. The wireless network works fine on both of my desktops. The t43p says that signal strength is excellent all of the time. It is model number 2668C4U
Remember to add the new mac address for the 2915 adapter to your router/ap if you have the mac address filters enabled. Also, WEP/WPA temporial keys are case sensitive on most equipment.
I had a similiar problem a couple months ago, and it was all due to a "B" that was a "b" in the pre-shared key
I dang near pulled my hair out trying to get it to work...it would connect & get a great signal, but it would never pull an IP and if I entered it manually, I still couldn't go anywhere.

Re: t43p wireless connection
This symptom happened to me last night when I tried to make the AirLink CardBus (108MB) card to work.halfcab206 wrote:I just received my t43p several days ago. The problem was that I did not put in the correct password in the security section of the CardBus network set-up (it by passes the Windows Wireless Set-up).
Verify your WEP password/key. If it is ASCII then make sure you put in the correct case. Login to your router and change the WEP password to something simple and change it back after you have corrected the problem.
This worked for me. It drove me nuts!!!
Good Luck!
