Hi,
Would you, guys, try the following, pls:
ThinPad Configuration -> Power management -> Power Manager -> Select theme (I have made my own, called custom) -> Edit, then change the settings to Max. CPU Speed = Adavptive (or Even Low/Lowest doesn't matter) and Optimize fan control to = Maximize performance.
Click ok everywhere - the fan shuts off (at least for a while).
Don't get me wrong, but I think BIOS in T43ps is kinda buggy, isn't it...
Funny thing is this darn fan...
