Wireless + Modem on T30

#1 Post by chrison600 » Sun Jul 17, 2005 12:58 pm

Hi all,

Is it possible to have internal g wireless on a T30 with modem support? If so, how?

Thanks,

Chris

Use a PCMCIA card for a modem and you can do it.
Thinkpad T43 2687-DTU: P-M 1.86GHz, Flexview LCD, CD-RW/DVD, Intel 802.11abg, Bluetooth, 1Gb Ethernet, Fingerprint Reader, 9c Li-Ion batt, WinXP Pro ------ my additions: 60GB 7200rpm travelstar, 1GB RAM

If you have a CDC modem you just need an 802.11b/g miniPCI card.

In order to install the g card you will need to run no-1802.com

You can find out about no-1802 via searching the forums.

I do have a daughter card modem, so all I need to do now is find the right (best) mini-PCI NIC.
